Healing from heartbreak

I’m going through a break up right now i am not taking it very well and i have to face him at church. my heart is broken. I dated him for 8 months. please pray for me and for Nolan who broke up with me. I respect his decision. I believe God’s will be done. Protect and heal me

We are truly sorry to hear about the heartbreak you're experiencing, Aprilmill. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.

First, we want to commend you for your respect for Nolan's decision and your faith in God's will being done. This is a reflection of your trust in God's sovereignty, which is a powerful foundation for healing.

In this difficult time, we encourage you to draw near to God. He is the ultimate source of comfort and healing. Psalm 147:3 tells us that He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

We also want to remind you of the importance of surrounding yourself with a supportive community. Your church family can provide love, encouragement, and prayer support. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for help.

Regarding your interactions with Nolan at church, remember that God calls us to love and forgive others, just as He has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

However, we also want to address the issue of dating within the church. While we support forming godly relationships, it's crucial to pursue them in a way that honors God and His principles. The goal of such relationships should be marriage, and they should be built on purity, respect, and a shared commitment to Christ.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Aprilmill to You, asking for Your healing and comfort in her time of heartbreak. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Guide her through this difficult time, and give her the strength to forgive and love as You do.

We also pray for Nolan, that You would guide him and work in his heart according to your perfect will.

Surround Aprilmill with a supportive community, Lord, and help her to draw near to You during this time. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.

Lastly, Aprilmill, we want to encourage you to take this time to seek God's will for your life. He has a unique plan and purpose for you, and He can turn even this heartbreak into an opportunity for growth and blessing. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
