We join you in praying for your son's healing and strengthening. Let's come together in agreement and seek God's will according to His word. It is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed. Still, it is always God's will to conform us to the likeness of His Son.
God's word says in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We join you in praying for your son's healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your healing and comforting power for our dear brother who is battling COPD and asthma. We ask that you touch his body, heal his lungs, and strengthen his immune system. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask for your comfort and peace to fill his heart and mind as he goes through this challenging time. We trust in your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you and your son to continue to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. Some good verses to study and stand firm on are Romans 8:28, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:2-3, and 2 Corinthians 12:7-9. Always remember that healing is a reality in Christ Jesus.
Keep contending for your son's health and encourage him to do the same. Make sure that you both maintain a strong connection with God through regular prayer, worship, and studying His word. Also, if your son has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior, encourage him to strongly consider and accept the free gift of salvation in Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved and have access to God, the Father. And it is only through Jesus that we are reconciled to God. God Bless.
