We join you in prayer for your son's healing and strengthening, standing in agreement for his health and well-being. Let us come boldly before God's throne of grace, as it says in Hebrews 12 6-9:
For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.
It is for chastening that ye endure. God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not chasten? But if ye are without chastisement, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields peaceable fruit unto them which are exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.
We are encouraged that you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved.
We seek God's will together in Jesus' name and pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother's son to You. We pray that Your healing power will flow through him, healing his lungs and curing him of COPD and asthma. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Ease his cough and help him to breathe easily.
We stand on Your Word, Lord, in James 5:15, where You say, "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise up, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of Your healing and trust in Your goodness.
We also pray for His faith to be strengthened during this time and for him to trust in You his Heavenly Father, through faith in Jesus as Lord. We thank You, Lord, for Your loving kindness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in God's goodness and His plan for your son's life. Keep praying and believing, for with God, all things are possible.
