We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing and comfort for him as he battles COPD and asthma. We stand in agreement with you, praying in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing and comfort for our dear brother who battles COPD and asthma. We ask that You touch his body, heal his lungs, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Rebuke the spirit of infirmity, and let Your healing power flow through him, driving out every trace of sickness.
Lord, we also pray for his cough to be healed and for his breathing to be made easy. Grant him supernatural strength and peace, and let this trial draw him closer to You. Guide his medical team, and give them wisdom and insight to provide the best care for him.
Father, we thank You for all that You do for us. We thank You for the cross, for the gift of salvation, and for the promise of healing. We claim Your promises in Isaiah 53:5 WEB:
But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
And in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB:
who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
We declare healing over our brother, in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, and we cancel every assignment of the enemy against him. We ask that You fill him with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope, as he trusts in You.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for the promise of eternal life through Him. We ask all these things in His precious and holy name, for Your glory. Amen.
As we stand in agreement with you, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Remember, it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). This is a great opportunity to share Jesus with your son and his healing will be a great testimony to you and your family. If he does not already know Jesus as his Lord and Savior use this experience to explain to him that God sent His son Jesus Christ to earth to pay the price for our sins and if he believes in Jesus as his Lord and Savior then he will be saved. This is why it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus as this is the only way to God and His healing. If you have not yet done so we encourage you to take the time to talk to him about Jesus and His love for us.
