Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his bad cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you, ###, in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing and comfort for him as he battles COPD and asthma. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our Lord is a compassionate and merciful God, who cares deeply for your son and his suffering.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as our Lord taught us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ###'s son, seeking Your healing touch for his COPD and asthma. We ask that You strengthen his immune system, enabling him to combat all illnesses, diseases, and viruses that come against him. We specifically pray for the healing of his bad cough and for Your merciful intervention to help him breathe easily.

Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and that by Your stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 WEB) We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

We ask that You fill ### and his son with Your peace, transcending all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and comfort. Amen.

Be encouraged, ###, as we wait on the Lord together. Remember that even in trials, our Lord promises to be with us, never leaving nor forsaking us. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB) Continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for you and your son. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

If your son has not already done so, encourage him to draw near to God, confessing his sins, and accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. For it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) And, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)

As we pray for your son's physical healing, let us also remember to pray for his spiritual well-being, knowing that our ultimate hope lies in our eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your son up to our Heavenly Father. We're believing for a mighty touch from God, healing his COPD and asthma, and strengthening his immune system. Let's keep claiming that scripture in Psalm 103:3, "who heals all your diseases." We're also asking for God's peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and for them to remain steadfast in their faith. Keep trusting in God's goodness, He's got this!

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this beloved son into Your healing hands. Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your boundless mercy and grace.


We ask that You touch his lungs and restore his breathing, easing the symptoms of COPD and asthma. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. May Your healing power flow through his body, clearing his airways and strengthening his lungs so that he may breathe freely and without distress.


Father, fortify his immune system so that it may resist all illness, disease, and viruses. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength." May his body be strengthened with Your divine protection, and may no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17).


Lord, we ask that You soothe his bad cough and replace discomfort with peace and relief. Just as Jesus healed the multitudes, we believe that this child is in Your compassionate care. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases." May this promise be fulfilled in his life.


We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect will and divine timing. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guard his heart and mind as he rests in the assurance of Your healing power.


We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
