We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Let us first acknowledge God's will for our lives.
I Corinthians 6:19 WEB says "What? Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own"
Therefore, it is only by the stripes of Jesus that we can be healed.
Isaiah 53:4 WEB says "Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted."
We are saddened by your son's struggle with COPD and asthma, but we are encouraged by the promises of God's word.
So, Windwold, we pray for your son together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for Windwold's son. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. We pray for complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for a strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave his respiratory system. We pray Your word for us in Luke 9:55 WEB which says "But he turned and rebuked them, and said, "You don't know of what kind of spirit you are. For the Son of Man didn't come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."
We ask the Lord Jesus to break every chain of addiction to smoking if this is a factor as it is a common occurrence with those with COPD.
Heavenly Father we pray that You heal his bad cough and help him to breathe easily. We thank You for all that You do for us, and we pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Windwold, continue to stand firm in faith and trust in the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5 WEB says "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding."
Galatians 6:9 WEB says "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."
Be encouraged by these promises, and know that we are praying for you and your son. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in His goodness and faithfulness. Remember we are told in Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
