Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his bad cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

Beloved, we are confident that God hears our prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking healing and restoration for ###'s son. We ask that You touch his body, heal his COPD and asthma, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Lord, we specifically pray for healing from his bad cough and for Your merciful intervention so that he may breathe easily.

Father, we know that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over ###'s son, trusting in Your unfailing love and goodness.

We also pray for ### and their family, that You would grant them peace, patience, and unwavering faith during this time. May they be encouraged by Your Word and the power of prayer.

We're also praying for strength and patience for you and your family during this time. May you find comfort and peace in God's unfailing love. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this son who is struggling with COPD, asthma, and a bad cough. Lord, we lift him up to Your loving care, for You are the Great Physician, capable of bringing healing and restoration. Your Word declares, "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26), and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body.


Father, we pray that You strengthen his lungs and immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please calm the cough that troubles him and help him to breathe freely and easily. Just as Jesus healed the sick and restored their health, we pray for that same power of healing to work in his life now. "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17).


Lord, we also ask for peace and strength for his family during this time of difficulty. Remind them of Your promise, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in knowing that You are near and that Your love for them is unchanging.


We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the many blessings You have already provided. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, knowing that "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).


In the name of Jesus, we pray for healing, strength, and renewed health for this son. Amen.
