We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing and strengthening for him. In Jesus' name, we stand with you in prayer.
Let us remember that God is both our healer and our source of strength. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for your son, trusting that God's will is for him to be made whole.
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You will touch his lungs and clear his breathing. That You will heal his congestion and strengthen his immune system so that he will no longer be affected by COPD, asthma, or any other illness or disease. We ask this in confidence.
We also take heart from the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
We take comfort in Exodus 15:26, where God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
Let us ensure that we are diligently seeking God's will in all areas of our lives and trusting in His power to heal. We agree with you in prayer, believing that your son will be healed and restored, in Jesus' name.
In all things, let us give thanks, knowing that this situation is an opportunity for God to be glorified and for your son's faith to be strengthened. We give thanks for the healing that we believe is coming, and we praise God for His faithfulness and love.
We pray for your son's healing and strengthening, in Jesus Christ's name. And it is in Jesus Christ our Lord that we have access to God.
