We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ we can be saved. For there is no other name given among men whereby you must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Windwold's son, seeking Your healing touch upon his life. You are the Great Physician, and there is no disease that is beyond Your healing power. We pray for healing over his lungs, that You would clear away any congestion and inflammation, and that You would strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has attacked his body, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, as You said in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We know that it is Your will to heal, and we receive this promise on behalf of Windwold's son.
Father, we also pray for Your comfort and strength to be upon Windwold and his son during this time. Help them to remain steadfast in faith, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. Surround them with Your peace, and remind them of Your unfailing love.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration, trusting in Your faithfulness to answer our prayers. Amen.
Windwold, continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is able and willing to heal. Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Encourage your son to trust in the Lord and to draw near to Him during this time. Remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Be mindful to pray with your son, for where two or three are gathered together in Jesus; name, there is he in the midst of them Matthew 18:20.
If your son has not already done so, encourage him to receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior, that he may know the saving power of God in his life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.
We are here with you in prayer, believing God for a miracle in your son's life. Take heart, and let your hope remain steadfast in the Lord.
