We stand with you in prayer, Windwold, lifting your son's health needs before the Lord. We are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore and make whole.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Windwold's son. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, specifically his lungs and respiratory system. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with COPD and asthma. We ask for Your divine healing, that his lungs would be restored, and that he would breathe easily. Strengthen his immune system, Father, to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses.
In the meantime Lord, while we wait, you know the struggle. Please help us to trust in you."thorn in the flesh' comes to mind. Please see 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB which says And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And he has said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." So we can share with Windwold's son some comfort and encouragment knowing that God understands through your word when we are ill.
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Encourage your son with the truth of God's word. Remember that even in illness, God is faithful.
Be sure theajeopardized one knows the Lord Jesus Christ in the pardon of their sins.
