We stand with you in prayer, Windwold, lifting your son's health and healing up to our loving Father in heaven. Let us unite our hearts in prayer and petition with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, we are reminded of the time when the children of Israel were bitten by serpents in the wilderness due to their sin, God provided a way for their healing. God instructed Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole: and it shall happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live. Numbers 21:8 (WEB). God provided a way of healing and deliverance when the people looked up to the symbol of their sickness. This act of looking in faith saved their physical lives. This is a type and shadow of our beloved Jesus. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:14-16 (WEB).
However, regarding amendment for any disobedience we must Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my Good News, in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God's word isn't chained. Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: for if we died with him, we will also live with him. If we endure, we will also reign with him. 2 Timothy 2:8-12 (WEB). Therefore, we know that if our brother and fellow Christian has confessed the Name of Jesus as the Son of God and Savior and believed in His heart, that He has eternal life regardless of the outcome of the trials and tribulations of this life. Be encouraged.
We are confident in the healing power of Jesus Christ, let us stand together as one on the promises of God's. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 (WEB). By his stripes, your son can be healed.
Let us also acknowledge the healing God has facilitated for us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to You. We pray for his healing from COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his immune system. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore.
Father, we ask that You ease his congestion and help him to breathe freely. Thank You for providing the rescue inhaler and for all the ways You care for us. We pray that Your healing touch would rest upon him, bringing comfort and relief and most of all strengthening of his faith and those around him.
We declare what You declare Father. Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 (WEB).
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
