Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you, ###, in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us come together in prayer and encouragement.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we can approach God as recorded in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our brother's son. You are the God of healing, the Almighty Physician of our souls and bodies. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, and restore his lungs from the effects of COPD and asthma. Strengthen his immune system to fight off all illnesses, diseases, and viruses. Help him to breathe easily, and let Your healing power bring an end to his cough.

Father, we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. By the stripes that Jesus bore, we are healed as stated in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

Lord, help our brother to stand firm in faith, trusting in Your healing power. Let this trial draw him closer to You, and let Your peace rule in his heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, continue to stand firm in faith, as we are reminded in James 1:6-7 WEB: "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For that man ought not to think that he will receive anything from the Lord."

Trust in the Lord, and let His peace rule in your heart. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your son's healing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.

Heavenly Father, we bring before You this child, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. Lord, You are the Great Healer, and Your Word assures us in Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord, who heals you." We pray that You heal him from COPD and asthma, strengthening his lungs and respiratory system so that he may breathe easily and without discomfort.

Father, we also ask for the strengthening of his immune system to fight off illness, disease, and viruses. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 41:3: "The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness." Please restore his health and renew his strength so that he may thrive in wellness and vitality.

We specifically pray for the healing of his persistent cough and for complete ease in breathing. As You breathed life into Adam, we ask that You breathe healing and restoration into his body now. Remind his family of the words in Isaiah 40:29: "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

Father, thank You for all You do and for Your faithfulness in answering prayers. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guard their hearts and minds as they trust in You. We pray all these things in the powerful and healing name of Jesus, AMEN.
