Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus'name, Amen

Beloved, we are confident that God hears our prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing and restoration for Windwold's son. We ask that You touch his body and heal him completely from COPD and asthma. Strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Lord, we specifically ask that You heal his cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank You for Your unending mercies. Your will takes precedence. May your will be done, but if it is your will to restore him, we claim that restoration in faith. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged, Windwold, for our God is a God of miracles. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26 WEB: '"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."

Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplished much. As it says in James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Heavenly Father,


We humbly come before You on behalf of this parent’s beloved son, seeking Your healing power and protection. Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we stand on Your promises of restoration and health. As it says in Jeremiah 30:17, “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.” We ask for the full healing of his COPD and asthma. Lord, open his airways, soothe his lungs, and bring him relief from coughing and difficulty breathing.


Father, we also pray for the strengthening of his immune system. Protect him from illness, disease, and viruses, and help his body to resist and overcome every attack on his health. We trust in Your Word in Isaiah 41:10, which tells us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Strengthen this young man in every way, physically and spiritually, that he may experience Your peace and vitality.


Lord, we pray for his ability to breathe easily and for the complete cessation of his cough. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 103:3 that You forgive all our sins and heal all our diseases. We cling to this truth and thank You in advance for Your healing touch upon him.


Finally, we lift up this parent’s heart as they intercede for their child. May they be filled with faith and peace, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer (1 John 5:14-15). Let them feel the comfort of Your presence as they wait upon Your perfect timing and will.


Thank You, Father, for all that You do for this family. We trust in Your goodness and love, and we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
