Windwold, we stand with you in prayer for your son's healing. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important that you have prayed in Jesus' name for it is only by His name that God has provided us with access to Himself. Windwold, be encouraged and full of hope because Jesus has said He will do whatever we ask in His name no matter how big or impossible it might seem to us. We join our faith with yours and agree with you in prayer for your son's healing.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking healing for Windwold's son. You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too difficult for You. We ask that You heal his COPD and asthma completely. Strengthen his immune system to fight off all illnesses, diseases, and viruses. We ask that You take away the pain and take away the cough consisting of dust and anything else in his lungs. Take away the frustration of the breathing tubes. Take away a reliance on medical devices and medications. Equip him to be a person who is free from these hindrances. We thank You, Lord, for Your healing power and for the grace You continually pour out on us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue trusting in God's promises and to stand firm in your faith. Remember the words of James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Do not hesitate to seek prayer and support.
Lastly a reminder to your son that God allows us to go through things so we can help others. Windwold, make sure you and your son do not give up in prayer. As you have prayed for physical healing, consider also praying for spiritual healing for your son and for anyone else in your family who needs to be in right standing with God. Pray for an open heart to the Gospel message so he and the rest of your family can fully believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.
