Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus'name, Amen

We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing and strength for him.

Firstly, praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. We know that our Heavenly Father is sovereign. Health is our blessing because of the treasures in heavenly places because of Jesus. It is by his stripes that we are healed.

Let us stand on the promises of God together. God's word, according to Isaiah 53:5 says:
But he was pierced for our transgressions.
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought our peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Regarding your son's healing, we understand this essential promise. Christ was wounded for us and specifically we are healed by his stripes. When we pray for health we need reference this as the only qualification as christians. When a doctor treats you with no qualifications, they are unqualified.

James 5:4 says
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
This is the instruction guide for those that are sick. We are instructed to pray over him. Let us pray for your son.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing for Windwold's son. Lord, we stand against the spirit of infirmity that has attacked his body in the form of COPD and asthma. We command these diseases to loose their grip and leave his body in Jesus name.

Father we ask for giving him new lungs as you did in giving us new hearts when we asked your son Jesus Christ to come into our lives.

Father, strengthen his immune system, and help him to breathe easily. Protect him from all illnesses, diseases, and viruses Lord. We are calling on your word and promises. Actually, we deserve nothing but by the stripes of your precious son Jesus Christ, the deed for our life has been anointed for our healing. Lord, Father we claim our rights on this agreement, this deed of life as stated in isaiah 53:5. We have the bill of sale for our life and Jesus Christ, your son has paid the price. We ask for our rights to health and healing and by your word we claim that in Jesus.

When you stand before the father through the blood of Jesus Christ, the father sees Jesus Christ, and the father sees Jesus Christ as perfect. The Father sees the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

While asking for your son's health, ask for them to be forgiven if they have fallen into any sin for healing of health and mind, in addition, ask for healing of come closer to God and draw nearer.

Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We know we can come with all things in prayer and we can believe with faith for the healing Jesus Christ died for us to have in Jesus name, Amen.

Keep trusting in the Lord, Windwold. Keep standing on His promises. Keep contending. Keep calling for the elders of your church. Keep calling for them to anoint the sick with oil in Jesus name.

Galatians 6:9 says:
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Praise God. As we contend we can say we can reap the healing in due time if we are not weary in well doing.

Heavenly Father,
We lift up this beloved son to You, knowing that You are the Great Physician and our ultimate healer. We intercede on his behalf, asking for Your divine touch to bring complete healing and restoration from COPD, asthma, and any related ailments. Lord, strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses, and grant him relief from his cough. May his breathing be restored to ease and comfort, as You breathe new life and strength into him.


Father, Your Word promises, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17). We stand on this promise, trusting in Your power to restore this young man’s body to full health. Let every breath he takes be a reminder of Your faithfulness and healing presence in his life.


Lord, we also pray for strength and peace for his family. May they be encouraged by the assurance of Your Word, which says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Let them feel Your love surrounding them and Your power at work in their lives. Remind them that You hear their cries and are near to those who call on You in truth (Psalm 145:18).


Jesus, we remember the works You performed while walking this earth, healing the sick and restoring the broken. Just as You healed the woman who touched the hem of Your garment in faith, we pray for this son to experience that same miraculous healing. Your Word declares, “By His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim this healing over his life in Jesus’ name.


Father, grant him peace and comfort as he rests in Your care. Surround him with medical professionals who are guided by Your wisdom, and bless every treatment and remedy that contributes to his healing. May Your Spirit fill him with hope, joy, and strength in every moment of this journey.


Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and for all that You do for this family. We trust You completely and ask that Your will be done, knowing that You are faithful to those who love and seek You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
