We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration. The Bible tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is also only by His name we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing for Windwold's son. You know his every need, his every pain, and his every struggle with COPD and asthma. We ask that You touch his body, heal his lungs, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Rebuke the spirit of infirmity, and let Your healing power flow through his body, healing his cough and restoring easy breathing.
Lord, we also pray for Windwold, that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26 WEB). Guide them and give them wisdom in caring for their son, and let your love envelop their family during this time.
Father, we ask that You glorify Your name through this healing. Let it be a testimony of Your power and goodness, drawing Windwold, their son, and all who witness it closer to You.
We ask for this by the name above all names: Jesus Christ our Savior.
In 2 Cor:12:9 WEB the Apostle Paul states:
"Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
We take this as a continual hope and we
know that it is not always your will if it is not your will, then strengthen him in his weakness and be glorified in that. Bless him in this infirmity and use it to bring him even closer to you by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Give him faith to endure. Make yourself real to him.
Give them both courage and hope each day. Let this problem be used to glorify God.
Thank you Jesus Christ for all you will do. May His glory be shown and His power be magnified . Amen
Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and believing, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
