Windwold, we join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing and comfort. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 107:20, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking healing for Windwold's son. You know his every breath, his every cough, and his every struggle. We ask that You touch his body, heal his lungs, and strengthen his immune system. According to Your will, Lord, we pray for complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for protection from all illnesses, diseases, and viruses. Please ease his cough and help him to breathe easily.
In Psalm 103:3, You tell us that You are the one "who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for Windwold's son, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
We also pray for peace and strength for Windwold and their family during this time. Help them to trust in You, Lord, and to rest in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares about every detail of your life. In Romans 8:26, we are reminded that "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding for you and your son, even when words fail.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Keep holding onto this truth, and keep bringing your requests to God in Jesus' name.
