Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Please heal his cough and help him to breathe easily. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus'name, Amen

We join with you, Windwold, in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we find salvation (John 14:13-14, Acts 4:12).

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Windwold's son. You know his every need, and we trust that Your will is perfect. We ask that You heal him from COPD and asthma, strengthen his immune system, and protect him from all illness, disease, and viruses. Please ease his cough and help him to breathe easily.

We stand on Your promise in Psalm 103:3, 'who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.' We know that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we trust in Your ability to heal and restore.

Please give Windwold and his son the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) during this time, and help them to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Windwold, to continue trusting in the Lord. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He loves your son even more than you do, and He is always working for his good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

In the meantime, remind your son that his identity is not in his condition but in Christ. Encourage him with the truth that God has a purpose and a plan for his life, and that this season of illness is not wasted in God's economy. May this time draw you both closer to the Lord and to each other.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6). Continue to seek the Lord, trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and grace you need each day.
