We stand with you, ###, in praying for your son's healing. Let us come together and bring your request before the Lord.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. As our Lord teaches, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB).
Let us pray:
Almighty Father, we approach Your throne of grace with confidence in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ###'s son to You, seeking Your divine healing. You know his every breath and need, Lord. Please touch his body and heal him completely from COPD and asthma. Strengthen his immune system to fight off every illness, disease, and virus. Heal his cold and help him breathe easily, even in the heat and humidity. Lord, we know that You are our great Healer, and we trust in Your power and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God's promises for your son. Remember, our God "is the one who heals you" (Exodus 15:26 WEB). Trust in His ability and willingness to heal.
Lastly, ensure that you and your son are in close relationship with the Lord Jesus, as it is through His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If your son hasn't already, encourage him to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is how we are saved (Romans 10:9). For it is in Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
