We join you, ###, in praying for your son's healing. Let us approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus Himself tells us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13).
We pray, Heavenly Father, for ###'s son. We ask for Your healing touch upon him, that You would heal him from COPD and asthma. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Heal his bad cold and help him to breathe easily, even in this heat and humidity. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We also pray for peace and patience for both you and your son, as you wait upon the Lord. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is faithful. As written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Keep standing in the gap for your son, knowing that the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much (James 5:16).
