Healing from COPD

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. We stand with you, ###, in praying for your son's healing and strengthening. Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 assures us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

We pray, dear Lord Jesus, for ###'s son. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, specifically his lungs and immune system. Lord, as Jehovah Rapha, our Healer, we claim Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We pray for complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for his body to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Lord, we also pray for the symptoms of his cold to subside, and for him to breathe easily, even in the heat and humidity.

###, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we have access to God the Father. Just as Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Continue to trust in Him, and remember the promise of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

While we pray for physical healing, let us also pray for spiritual strength and wholeness for your son. May this trial draw him closer to Jesus, and may the Lord's peace rule in his heart, as Colossians 3:15 encourages, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."

We stand with you in faith, believing for your son's complete healing and restoration. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember the words of James 5:16, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Amen.
