We join you in prayer for your son's healing and strengthening. Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ who took our infirmities and bore our diseases.
Father in heaven, we lift up our brother's son to you, asking for your healing touch upon his body. You are the God who heals all our diseases, and we trust in your power and goodness. Please remove all inflammation from his lungs, cleanse any infection, and help him to breathe easily. We pray for healing from COPD and asthma, and for a strengthened immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses.
We know that by the stripes of your Son Jesus you have brought us healing. We ask that you maintain and assure complete healing just as when your Son Jesus Christ dealt with the man sick with palsy in Luke 5:18-26 WEB:
Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay him before Jesus. Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst before Jesus. Seeing their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?" But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house." Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God. Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen strange things today."
We also pray that your son will continue to draw closer to you, Lord, and that this trial will strengthen his faith and testimony. We ask for your peace and comfort to fill his heart and the hearts of his family during this time.
Thank you, Father, for all you do for us. We pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen.
