We are truly saddened to hear about Kathy's condition, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer. We believe that God is the ultimate healer, and we stand with you in faith for Kathy's healing.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh" (WEB). God's will is to heal and restore, and we believe that Kathy's healing is possible.
However, we want to address something important. While we understand the use of medicine, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God, not man-made treatments. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases" (WEB). It is God who heals, and we must keep our faith in Him, not in medicine alone. We do not rebuke you for using medicine, but we encourage you to keep your faith firmly planted in God.
We also want to encourage Kathy to stay strong in her faith during this time. Isaiah 40:29 reminds us, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might" (WEB). God will give Kathy the strength she needs to endure this trial.
Now, let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Kathy to Your throne of grace. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You heal her from this Glioblastoma. May Your healing power flow through her body, destroying every cancerous cell. Give her strength, Lord, to endure this trial and to trust in You completely. Guide her doctors and give them wisdom in their decisions. In Jesus Christ name, we pray.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to stay steadfast in prayer and faith. Do not waver, for God is faithful.
