Guide the doctors and medical professionals who are attending to him, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care possible. Comfort him in his time of need, and surround him with Your loving presence. We pray for a miraculous recovery, and we thank You for Your unfailing love and grace.

I just said a prayer for your son, friend. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs from the pain and help him experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
