We understand that you are seeking healing from anxiety and torment, and you are also interceding for someone close to you. Firstly, we want to remind you that healing and deliverance are found in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24 WEB).
We are concerned that you have requested prayer for someone you love but have not provided a name or enough context for their situation. If you have left out the name of Jesus from their life, now is the time to speak with them about Jesus. We are saved by His name.
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
While you are seeking deliverance from anxiety, remember what is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
As for the torment, we are reminded of Romans 8:37-39 WEB:
No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Stand firm in the love of God, and do not let tormenting spirits tell you otherwise.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking healing and deliverance for our beloved friend and also for their loved ones. Father God, You know the anxiety and torment that they are facing. We declare the blood of Jesus Christ over them, knowing that by Your stripes they are healed.
We rebuke any spirit of torment and anxiety that is oppressing them, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father God, we ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus Christ we are more than conquerors. We ask You to reveal this truth to them and give them strength to stand firm in their faith.
We also lift up the loved one they mentioned, Father God, and ask that You would work in their life, drawing them to Yourself and revealing the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Father God, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We encourage you to always approach God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. If the person you are praying for does not believe in Jesus, we encourage you to share the good news of the gospel with them and pray that they would come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.
