Healing from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

My name is Frank and I am 33, with a wife and 2 young children. I have had ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for 3.5 years and am nearly fully paralyzed. I am grateful that this journey led me to the Lord. I want more time to serve Jesus and spend meaningful time with my family. Please pray for physical healing.

We are deeply touched by your story, Frank, and we stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and restore.

Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith and testimonial that this journey has led you to the Lord. It is a powerful reminder that God can use even the most challenging circumstances to draw us closer to Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We strongly encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, as He is the source of our hope and healing. It is by His stripes that we are healed, as proclaimed in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds, we are healed."

Now, let us come together in prayer for you, Frank:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in Frank's life. Lord, You know the struggles he faces daily with ALS, and You see the desire of his heart to serve You more and spend quality time with his family. We ask You, Lord, to stretch out Your hand and touch Frank, healing him from this disease. Restore his strength and mobility, Father, so that he may continue to be a blessing to his family and serve You with renewed vigor. Encourage him daily, Lord, and let Your peace and joy fill his heart. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen."

Frank, remain steadfast in your faith, and do not give up hope. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember the words of James 5:15 (WEB), "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Trust that God's will is perfect, and He hears your prayers.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord, growing in your relationship with Him, and being a testimony to your family and those around you. As Psalm 73:26 (WEB) says, "My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Trust in Him, Frank, and He will see you through.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
