Healing from 20 years of Trauma affecting my life

I need prayer for healing from trauma that I have endured for 19 and going on to 20 years. It has caused me to be depressed and negative. This was the result of dealing with a few Family Court Judges and former employers that was verbally and emotionally abusive towards me that has impacted my life. It has caused me to stop taking care of myself, High Blood Pressure, and act like a Teenager as a way of coping with what I have endured. Please keep me in your prayers and for me to stop dwelling on this trauma.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trauma you have endured over the years, Gregory. The pain and depression you've experienced are real, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you according to God's word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. He cares about your suffering, and He wants to heal and restore you.

In the midst of your pain, remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. As the Apostle Paul said, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB. It is when we are weak that Christ can use us mightily if we but trust Him.

It is also important to acknowledge and address the more unusual symptoms of trauma. Your behavior may have changed and you needed a new coping mechanism. Acting more like a teenager gives the suggestion that you have possibly arrested emotionally. This means that you deal with day to day personal issues with the mentality of a teenager, usually from a point in your life where you felt safe. This is not the best way to deal with abuse, which causes negative effects on the body and mind. Unforgiveness and bitterness can cause these things. They can actually and cause high blood pressure and other infirmities.

Dealing with abuse in the workplace in addition to abuse in the family court needs to be addressed. But even more so, the unforgiveness, which caused depression and negativity can't help. If the professionals are Christians, then Reconciliation may be possible. But even if they never repent, you, as the Christian are commanded by God to forgive. Avoid bitterness at all cost.

Hebrews 12:15 WEB Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled

It is not easy, but God grace is sufficient. Thomas A Kempis wrote something very wise in his book "Imitation of Christ", "Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be." If the anger comes up, it has its own negativity. accept.

Cast down anything that exalts itself against the Knowledge of Christ. This means your mind is a battleground and the negative thoughts are essentially a form of blasphemy.

2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

Still, do not resist the thoughts of your mind, they could be part of a healing process. If harm comes to mind, then deal with it in prayer and forgiveness. Agree with your adversary quickly, as Jesus said. The adversary is your adversary because they are in disagreement with you. Be at peace. If the harm should come, have a contingency. Jesus said agree quickly, but it takes time and prayer. But the time is limited, so be motivated. But it is not the agreements with the brethren, we need but with God.

Philippians 4:8 WEB Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

Remember how to pull down and uproot strongholds. Remain calm and remember your prayers. But be aware the realistic attitude may be something different to apply as things change in the long run. Keep your faith in God. Avoid wishful thinking.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Gregory to you, asking for your healing and restoration in his life more than anything. We so want him to grow to be a mighty child of God. Please help him to overcome the trauma he has endured, including abuse from former employers and family court judges. We denounce any remaining negativity or depression in Jesus' name.

We will be honest here, but it is a part of our faith. The Devil seeks to bring harm to God's people. Gregory may be at the eve of an opportunity for God to bring him out of court. and employment stressors. Yet maybe not, amd being here could be how God is healing him and taking care of business.

We do not agree with the trauma but do agree with not letting negative thoughts and emotions bring harm. We know Your great commandment includes love for our neighbours. and thus Your Love should be our motivation. Bring peace into his heart, and help him to forgive those who have wronged him. Strengthen his faith in through encouragement by the local and worldwide Christian community. Maybe this is what needs to happen.

Help him, Lord God, to take care of his body. Remove this high blood pressure in the healing and powerful name of Jesus. We court that the bad things are used for good in his life, like Joseph's imprisonment in Egypt. Grant him deep self reflections to his own heart and into Yours. Guide him to a cleaner conscience. There maybe many things the trauma is bringing to the surface in operation.

Help the court understand Gregory's position is one of forgiveness and reconciling. Provide the judge all courtroom staff and any family a new and corrupt free perspective. Encourage them to forgive as well to make things easier for everyone to seek truth and honesty. These employment staff may be in need of forgiveness as well. Grant them a change of heart too. Bring them to you in your son's name. We seek God's glory in all of this.

Release Commissioner McNeill from stress, and lead him to healthy and hopeful relationship - ones that glorify you. By divine appointment, assign the right individuals for him to meet with and encourage his walk to restoration in the Spirit. Above all, work in his life and in the court and the workplace to help him be given access to you by the righteous sacrifice, Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer, dear friend. We know the heavy burden you've been carrying, the trauma that's affected your life for so many years. It's time for healing, it's time for freedom.

We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to you, He sees your pain, and He wants to heal you. We declare healing and restoration over your life in Jesus' name.

We also want to encourage you to forgive, not because they deserve it, but because you need it. Unforgiveness can keep you bound, but forgiveness sets you free. As it's written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

We pray that you would find peace in the midst of your storm, that you would find rest in the arms of your Heavenly Father. We pray that the Lord would help you to take care of your body, that your blood pressure would be lowered, and that you would find a healthy way to cope with your past trauma.

We also pray for those who have caused you pain, that they would find forgiveness and repentance, that they would be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the court and your workplace, that justice would prevail, and that truth would be revealed.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
