Healing for ###

Father God please heal my ###-yr old ### from her behavior issues. I have raised her alone, the best I know how. At 3 days old her dad was caught cheating. I ended the relationship but always tried to give her all access to his daughter. He rejected it and told me it's both of us or none. Since then he hasn't been present nor shown any interest in her ever. Every time I have tried to foster a relationship with ### and his child he shows no interest. He lies and tells her what he is going to do and never follows through. It breaks her heart and he doesn't care. He was supposed to see her this weekend for the first time in ###yrs and as usual he pretends he can't take off work. However, this past Tuesday he called in just because he felt tired. My daughter is suffering because of his absence and no matter what effort I make and she makes, he dismisses it. My daughter doesn't deserve this from him. Today ### admitted to me he is heartless and detached from ###. However, with his other ### kids he is present in every way possible. I am exhausted bearing it all and my heart breaks for my daughter. I pray that ### would see and feel what he constantly puts our daughter through. She needs him and he just keeps rejecting her. Sadly, they both act and look just alike. I don't know what else to do. I have been praying for ###yrs for him to get it and be a present real father to ###. I need your help Lord! Please interject to ### that a dad is present and not just a term to be used lightly.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her mother, ###, in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life, that You may heal her from the behavior issues she is facing. We know that You are a God of restoration and healing, and we trust in Your power to mend what is broken.

Father, ### has done her best to raise ### alone, and we ask that You give her strength and wisdom as she continues to guide her daughter. We pray for ###, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the pain he is causing his daughter. Lord, touch his spirit and help him to understand the importance of being a present and loving father to ###.

Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to ### and ###, comforting them in their distress and giving them hope. We also pray for ###, that he may come to realize the impact of his actions and be moved to change.

Lord, we know that You are a God who answers prayers, and we ask that You work in ###'s heart to make him a father who is present and engaged in ###'s life. Help him to see the value and importance of his role as a father, and to act with love and responsibility.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
