We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son Christopher to our loving Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of prayer and the name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded of God's care for those who suffer, as it is written in Psalm 34:18: The LORD is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Firstly, we thank you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We pray that God will guide those responsible for Christopher's care, giving them wisdom, compassion, and understanding to acknowledge his disabilities and the severe symptoms of his PTSD without stigma or mental abuse. As it is written in Proverbs 19:17: He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; and he will repay him his good deed.
We pray that God will expose any medication that may be causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion, and that He will guide Christopher's healthcare providers to remove and replace these medications with ones that promote healing and well-being. As it is written in Jeremiah 33:6: Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.
We also pray for Christopher's spiritual health, that God will draw him close and reveal Himself to him in a powerful way. If Christopher has not already done so, we pray that he will come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12: There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Finally, we pray that God will fill you and your family with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that He will strengthen you in faith as you trust in Him. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, guidance, and blessing for you and Christopher. Amen.
