We join with you, Windwold, in lifting up your son Christopher to the Lord, trusting in the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is written: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
We pray that God will guide those responsible for Christopher's care and grant them wisdom and discernment to recognize his disabilities and the severe symptoms of his PTSD without any stigma or mental abuse. As it is written: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)
We ask the Lord to heal Christopher's mind and body, and to give him clarity and freedom from any delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. We pray for the Lord's intervention regarding Christopher's medication, that it may be replaced with whatever is best for his well-being. We trust in the Lord's promise: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh," (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB)
We also pray for strength and comfort for you and your family during this time. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Continue to trust in the Lord, Windwold, and keep praying fervently for Christopher. We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord will work everything out for his good and for the glory of His name.
