We stand with you in prayer for Christopher's healing and guidance for those responsible for his care. It is so important that his caretakers acknowledge his disabilities and the severe symptoms he faces due to PTSD without any stigma or mental abuse. As the Bible tells us in Romans 15:1, "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves."
We pray that God will guide the medical professionals to discern the right medication that will not cause delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Christopher. We pray for Your healing touch upon his life, especially his struggles with PTSD. Guide those responsible for his care to understand and address his needs with compassion and wisdom. Help them to recognize the reality of his condition without any stigma or mental abuse.
Lord, we ask that You direct the medical professionals to find the right treatment and remove any medication that causes harmful side effects. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy.
Father, we also pray for Windwold, that You would strengthen their faith and give them peace during this time. Remind them of Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins and through whom we can confidently approach the throne of God for grace and mercy. Amen.
Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord and keep praying in Jesus' name. As we are reminded in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
