We join you, Windwold, in lifting up Christopher to our merciful and gracious Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is wonderful that this prayer request is submitted in Jesus' name. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In times of struggle, we can trust in the Lord's promises, such as those found in Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB), "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We pray together:
Heavenly Father, we bring Christopher before Your throne of grace, seeking Your mercy and healing power. We ask that You restore him physically, mentally, and spiritually. You see the struggles he is going through, and we trust in Your lovingkindness to lead him through this trial.
We pray for clarity in Christopher's thoughts, relief from the constant auditory hallucinations and delusional beliefs, and peace in his mind, pure thoughts (Philippians 4:8 WEB). Help him to discern Your still, small voice above all others, guiding him to the right treatment and the path of healing. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB).
We ask that You bring comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of Christopher's life. Give him the strength to endure and the hope to press on, knowing that You are always with him. "Fear not, for I am with you; don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10 WEB).
We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We are confident that You are working all things together for good, even in this challenging situation (Romans 8:28 WEB). Amen, in Jesus Christ's safe and powerful name.
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue praying fervently for Christopher. Do not stop knocking on heaven's door until you see the breakthrough you seek (Luke 18:1-8 WEB). Trust in the Lord's timing and goodness, and remember that He is always faithful. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).
As we pray, we should also not forget the doctors, nurses, or other medical staff treating Christopher. "Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as it is with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 WEB).
If it seems that his condition has a demonic connection, then pray explicitly for the demonic influences to be cast out and forbidden to return. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).
If there is a need for advice on which specific scriptures to use, we will be glad to help.
