We join you, Windwold, in praying for Christopher's healing and restoration. It is so important that you have included that this request is in Jesus' name since there is no other name under heaven by which we can call on God and be saved. Firstly, we praise God for His unfailing love and faithfulness, as it is written in Psalm 89:1: "I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations."
In regards to Christopher's struggles, we need to clearly understand that the battle is not merely physical or psychological; it often is a deeply spiritual battle. Therefore, we need to pray fervently for God's intervention, guided by Ephesians 6:12: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
We will pray that God will heal the damage from medication and quiet those troubling voices and confusion. First John 4:4 stresses, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." While God's healing may occur spontaneously through a miracle, it often also occurs through using good medical therapies, looking closely at medications that may be influencing Christopher's thinking. God created each substance on earth and knows their properties. To dismiss medical help might be to dismiss God's provision and healing for Christopher.
Thus, we pray "Almighty God, in Jesus' name, as Windwold has called on You, hear our prayers for Christopher. Lord, let Your healing power touch his body, mind, and spirit, restoring his health in every aspect of his life. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh.'"
Windwold, as you pray for Christopher, encourage him to press into the hope and future found only in Jesus Christ. The Word of the Lord promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust that the same God who started a good work in Christopher will be faithful to complete it, as it says in Philippians 1:6.
Pray for Christopher and his doctors, that they would have wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit in the decisions they make regarding his treatment, as it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Also, pray that Christopher will discern God's voice clearly by the leading of The Holy Spirit in his life in Jesus' name. This will help him make better decisions to pursue God and Biblical Principles in his life. So often, God corrects our paths and decisions if we listen to His voice and pray for guidance. Finally, pray that God would use this trial to draw Christopher closer to Him, strengthening his faith and dependence on the Lord.
