We join you, Windwold, in lifting up Christopher to our Heavenly Father, seeking healing and guidance for his journey.
Let us pray, Our compassionate Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking your intervening grace for Christopher. We ask that you guide the medical professionals responsible for his care, giving them wisdom, discernment, and compassion. Open their eyes to acknowledge Christopher's disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD that he faces, so that they may provide the proper treatment he desperately needs. This will not happen if he does not have skilled hands having the skills and understanding for his use.
Lord, as Christ is the only One who provides eternal salvation and therefore the only One who can save someone from Hell, we pray that they realize the reality that they are saving a life (1 Tim 1:1) so that someone else might live. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.(Matt 18:6 WEB)
Lord, only You can remove and replace all medications that are causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. Lord, guard him by turning away the voices and delusional things that plague him. (Job 4:15 WEB) guide his doctors to know any medications which are doing that and eliminate them rather than leaving him in this horrific torment. Give him mental clarity, peace of heart, and renewal of mind. Check the spirits that are working against his best interests, whether they are the spirits of men or the foulest of demons, lest he be double minded and unstable in all his ways.
Father, thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust Christopher into your caring hands. We know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life, thank you for all You do for us. In Jesus' name, we pray, so that he might stand before your throne righteous. Amen.
Windwold, encourage and comfort Christopher with these words of God: "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." Let him know that Jesus is truly able to sympathize with his struggles, having suffered in his body once for all people such that we could all be healed.
We pray that Christopher focuses on God and trusting Him, meditating not as the world does on temporary afflictions and the burdens of life they tend to let define their life, but keeping his eyes on things and promises that are unseen. Because the unseen promises are eternal.
