Heavenly Father,
We lift up Christopher before You in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention in his life and care. Lord, You see his struggles and the severe symptoms he endures from PTSD. We pray that You guide the hearts and minds of those responsible for his care to recognize the reality of his disabilities without stigma or judgment. Let their actions be rooted in compassion, understanding, and a desire to provide the best treatment possible. Your Word says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Be near to Christopher, Lord, and let him feel Your comforting presence.
Father, we ask for wisdom for his medical providers. Guide them to discern the medications that may be causing harm, such as delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. Lead them to replace these with treatments that bring clarity, stability, and peace to Christopher’s mind. Your Word reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5). We ask for this wisdom now, Lord, and for healing that only You can bring.
Lord, as Christopher navigates this difficult journey, protect him from mental abuse and stigma. Remind him that his worth comes from being created in Your image and that Your plans for him are for good and not harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help him to find strength in You, for Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and care. You are a God who sees, hears, and acts, and we trust in Your ability to bring healing, clarity, and peace to Christopher’s life. Surround him with people who uplift and encourage him, and let him feel the power of Your love through their kindness. We pray all this in the mighty and compassionate name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
