We stand with you, Windwold, in praying for Christopher's healing and proper care. Let us approach God's throne with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23)
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Christopher. Lord, You know the struggles he faces daily with his disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD. We ask that You guide those responsible for his care. Open their eyes to the reality of his condition, remove any stigma or prejudice, and help them to treat him with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Rebuke any form of mental abuse, Lord, and let Your healing power flow into Christopher's life.
Father, we also ask that You guide the medical professionals in their decisions regarding his medication. Give them wisdom to remove and replace any medication that is causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. We trust in Your wisdom and Your power to heal, Lord.
Finally, Father, we thank You for all that You do for us. We thank You for the promise that "all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) We claim this promise for Christopher's life, Lord.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Windwold, continue to trust in God and His promise to never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Be persistent in your prayers, and remember the words of Jesus, "Keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)
