Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift up Windwold's son, Christopher, in prayer. We ask that you guide those responsible for his care to acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and severe symptoms from PTSD, without the stigma and mental abuse, so that he may receive proper treatment. We pray, Lord, that you would give the medical professionals wisdom and discernment to identify and replace any medication that may be causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion.
We are reminded of your promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We claim this promise for Christopher, that you will strengthen and help him, and uphold him with your righteous right hand.
We also pray for Windwold, that you would fill them with your peace that passes all understanding, and give them the faith to trust in your will for Christopher's life. We are encouraged by your word in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is by his name that we have access to you, Father, and it is by his name that we are saved. Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Amen.
Windwold, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. He hears your prayers and cares for Christopher deeply. Continue to seek his will and be open to his leading. Stay strong in your faith and remember that the Lord is fighting for Christopher and will never leave nor forsake him.
