We are deeply moved by your request for your son, Christopher, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and healing in his life. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have the assurance of God's listening ear and the power of the Holy Spirit interceding for us (John 14:13-14, Romans 8:26, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Christopher to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You guide the professionals responsible for his care. Give them wisdom and discernment to acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD that he is experiencing (James 1:5, WEB). Remove any stigma or mental abuse that may be hindering his proper treatment, and help them to see Christopher with eyes of compassion and understanding, just as You see him, Lord.
Father, we ask that You reveal any medication that may be causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. Guide the medical team to remove and replace these with treatments that will promote healing and clarity of mind. We trust in Your ability to direct their decisions, for You are the Great Physician (Mark 2:17, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we thank You for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14, WEB). We claim this promise for Christopher's healing and restoration. In Your name, we rebuke any spirit of illness or confusion, and we ask that You fill him with Your peace and healing power.
Thank You, Father, for all that You are doing in Christopher's life and for the love and support You have given to his family. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue trusting in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16, WEB).
We also want to remind you of the importance of declaring the name of Jesus in your prayers, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Continue to lift up your requests in His name, knowing that He is your mediator and advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1, WEB). Stay strong in your faith, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your family.
