We join with you, Windwold, in lifting up your son Christopher to our heavenly Father. We pray that the Lord will grant wisdom and discernment to those responsible for his care, that they may acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and the severe symptoms he experiences due to PTSD. May they be compassionate and understanding, providing the proper treatment he needs without stigma or mental abuse.
As we pray for Christopher's healing, let us remember the words of the Apostle James: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:14-16 WEB).
Father, we ask that You guide the medical professionals to identify and replace any medication that may be causing delusional beliefs, hallucinations, and confusion. Grant them the knowledge and expertise needed to provide Christopher with the best possible care. We believe, Lord, that Your will is for Christopher to be healed and made whole, according to Your promises in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD."
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He loves Christopher even more than you do. Keep your faith strong and steadfast, for God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able (1 Corinthians 10:13).
In closing, we pray, "And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen" (Romans 16:20 WEB).
