We stand with you in prayer, Windwold, for your son Christopher's healing and proper care. Let us bring your request before the Lord together.
Our compassionate God understands our suffering and is always ready to help and heal. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Therefore, we pray that God will touch Christopher's mind and heal him from the PTSD and its severe symptoms.
You have asked that those responsible for Christopher's care acknowledge his condition without stigma and mental abuse. We rebuke any spirit of stigma or abuse in Jesus' name and pray that those caring for Christopher will have the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). We ask God to grant them a spirit of compassion, understanding, and discernment, so they may treat Christopher with kindness and dignity.
We also ask God to guide the medical professionals in their decisions regarding Christopher's medication. May God grant them wisdom to discern the right treatment that will not cause delusional beliefs, hallucinations, or confusion. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We are thankful that you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Christopher. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on his mind and body. Guide those responsible for his care to acknowledge his condition and treat him with kindness and dignity. Grant the medical professionals wisdom to discern the right treatment for him. We rebuke any spirit of stigma or abuse and ask that You surround Christopher with love and compassion. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Windwold, and continue to trust in the Lord, for He cares for you and Christopher. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you."
