We join with you, Windwold, in praying for your son Christopher's healing and proper care. Let us come together and approach the throne of grace with confidence, as encouraged in Hebrews 4:16, "Letβs therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we acknowledge and thank you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'").
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up Christopher to Your loving care. We pray that You guide the medical professionals responsible for his treatment, granting them wisdom and discernment to acknowledge his disabilities and severe symptoms of PTSD without stigma or prejudice (James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.").
Lord, we ask that You remove and replace any medication that is causing delusional beliefs and hallucinations, guiding the healthcare team to find a suitable alternative that promotes healing and wholeness for Christopher (3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers.").
We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or stigma that may be surrounding Christopher's care, and we declare that God's perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.").
Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and care for Christopher and for us all. We trust that You are working all things together for his good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.").
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage one another with these words, and may we continue to trust in God's goodness and mercy, knowing that He hears our prayers and is faithful to answer according to His perfect will.
