We stand with you, Windwold, in lifting up your son Christopher to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
Firstly, let us address the stigma and mental abuse that Christopher is facing. The Bible tells us, "Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged" (Matthew 7:1 WEB). It is crucial that those responsible for Christopher's care understand that his disabilities and PTSD symptoms are real and not a basis for judgement or abuse. We pray that God will soften their hearts and open their minds to acknowledge this reality, so they may treat Christopher with the compassion and respect he deserves.
We also pray for discernment regarding Christopher's medication. The Bible encourages us to test everything and hold onto the good (1 Thessalonians 5:21 WEB). We ask God to guide the healthcare professionals in identifying any medications that may be causing delusional beliefs and hallucinations, and to replace them with appropriate treatments that promote healing and well-being.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Christopher. We ask that You guide those responsible for his care to acknowledge his disabilities and severe symptoms of PTSD without the stigma and mental abuse, so he may receive proper treatment. Please remove and replace all medication causing delusional beliefs and hallucinations. Lord, we trust in Your power to heal and restore. Thank you for all You do for us. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen."
In the meantime, Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord and lean on His understanding. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Stay steadfast in your prayers and advocacy for Christopher, and remember that our God is a God of compassion, healing, and miracles.
