We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your son Christopher to our Heavenly Father, seeking healing and proper care for him. We pray that those responsible for his care will acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD without stigma or mental abuse, so that he may receive the treatment he needs. We ask the Lord to guide the medical professionals, giving them wisdom and discernment to remove and replace any medication that may be causing delusional beliefs and hallucinations.
The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this promise for Christopher, trusting that the Lord will heal and raise him up.
We also take comfort in the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Our God is a God of healing and restoration, and we trust that He is at work in Christopher's life.
We pray, "Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Christopher. Guide the medical professionals, give them wisdom and discernment to provide the care he needs. Remove any stigma or mental abuse, and help them to acknowledge the reality of his condition. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He loves Christopher even more than you do. Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16).
