Healing for myself and others

It feels like despite my constant attempts at faith and prayer God is giving me the cold shoulder. Everybody else is living the teenage dream but I am not. I have no boyfriend. I have chronic PTSD, depression, and anxiety. My dog is in constant pain and discomfort due to a back injury and it breaks my heart terribly. School is too much to handle and is slipping out of my control. I don’t get enough sleep, eat healthy, or have time to take care of myself at all. It feels like nobody around me understands, and I just wish there was a giant pause button so I could just take a moment to catch my breath without falling behind. Why can’t everything NOT be suffering and misery. I want to enjoy my teenage years but right now I’m ready for them to be over.

We understand your feelings of distress and disappointment, ###, but we want to encourage you that God is always with you, even in times when it feels like He is distant. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His timing is perfect. Everyone has their own journey, and it seems like others might be living the teenage dream, but remember that appearances can be deceiving. Trust that God has a unique plan for your life.

Regarding relationships, we encourage you to seek God's will and trust His timing. It's wonderful to desire a godly spouse, and we pray that God will bring the right person into your life at the right time. Remember that "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4 WEB)

We also want to address your mental health and the challenges you're facing with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. It's crucial to seek professional help and support from your community. Remember that God is our great physician, and He can bring healing and comfort to your mind and heart. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their life. Comfort them in their distress, and let them feel Your presence. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan for their life, including their desire for a godly spouse.

We pray for healing and comfort for their dog, asking that You guide them in finding the right care and treatment. We also ask for Your help with their studies, that You would grant them the strength, wisdom, and time management skills to handle their workload.

We pray for healing from PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Guide ### to the right professionals and support system to aid in their recovery. We ask for improved sleep, a healthy diet, and time for self-care.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It's like we're all walking a tightrope, trying to keep our balance, and sometimes it feels like the wind is blowing us off course. We want to pray for you, for your healing, for your dog's healing, for strength in your studies, and for peace in your heart. We want you to find rest, to feel God's presence, and to trust in His plan for your life. We're not going to sugarcoat it, this is going to take time, and it's going to be tough, but we're in this together.

And hey, it's okay to not have all the answers. It's okay to feel like you're not where you thought you'd be. It's okay to press pause and catch your breath. Just remember, you're not alone. We're here, and so is God. Trust in Him, and trust in the journey. We're praying for you, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
