Healing for my ###

This may seem like a silly prayer request but please hear me out. My cat is sick and I think I made it worse! "###" was having diarrhea but kept eating a lot, drinking, and otherwise herself. The vet started her on a special prescription food. Vet thinks it was just some old treats she got into. The Vet said it could take a couple days or more to normalize. She was eating yesterday but I put a couple drops of food coloring on her food so I can distinguish her stool from my other cat's but today I read that this can cause more stomach distress or even an allergic reaction. Today she ate only a little, vomited once, and is more lethargic now. I suffer from Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD to begin with so even though I have prayed to God about her I am still a wreck. I can't take my mind off it and having trouble not to worry. I feel that GOD is using this to get my attention like Balaam's donkey. That happened to be the Scripture for the Devotional I read today. I have not put GOD first in my life so I need prayer to change that. I know GOD forgives me and is always there for me but I pray he draws me closer and becomes my priority and my strength every day. I have been trying to do it all on my own. Please pray for me and for my cat to get better quickly. I feel horrible that I could have made things worse for her.

Regarding Mittens, it is good that you are being proactive in her care and monitoring her condition. It is clear that you have her best interests at heart. Proverbs 12:10 WEB reminds us, A righteous man respects the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ and her beloved cat, Mittens. Lord, You know the depth of her concern and worry, and we ask that You wrap her in Your comforting arms. Ease her anxiety and fill her with Your perfect peace, as it is promised in Your Word.

Lord, we pray for Mittens' healing. Touch her little body, and let the food and medicine restore her. Help her to get better and give her strength.

Father, we also pray for our sister. We thank you for using this situation to draw her closer to You. Help her to put You first in her life, to seek Your face, and to trust in Your unfailing love. Strengthen her faith, and help her to rest in Your promises. Help her with her Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. We pray that these illnesses do not hinder her but help her to draw closer to You and to depend on You each day.

Father, help her to remember the words of Jesus Christ in John 14:6 WEB I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We ask that she always calls on You in the name of Jesus Christ.
