We join you in lifting up your beloved son before the throne of grace, trusting in God's unfailing love and mercy. We are reminded of the words of Jesus, who said, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you, For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. The promise of God is that the fervent, effectual, prayer of the righteous avails much.
Firstly, we praise God that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
We pray for your son's complete restoration physically, mentally, and spiritually, as you have requested. God, in His infinite power and wisdom, is able to heal and restore your son from his struggles with medication-induced psychosis. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:7, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. WEB
We rebuke any form of auditory hallucinations and delusional beliefs that may be tormenting your son, and we pray that God will grant him clarity in his thoughts and the ability to discern His voice above all others. We are reminded of the words in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. So let your son hear God's voice and be healed.
We also pray for God's guidance in leading your son to the right treatment and for His comfort and healing to envelop every area of your son's life. Be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 34:17-18, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Remember the promise of Romans 8:26, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. The Spirit searches the hearts, and knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. So trust God to heal your son, and give him sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is working all things together for good, even in this difficult time. Romans 8:28
In Jesus name we pray. Amen
