We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle with anxiety and depression, but we are hopeful, for we serve a God who cares about our infirmities and heals the brokenhearted. First, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written:
Entering into the presence of God does not come through saying magic words. However, Jesus Christ is the only way to approach God the Father. There is no other way. No one comes to the Father except by Jesus Christ (John 14:6, WEB).
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved soul who is battling anxiety and depression. We acknowledge that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We pray that Your healing touch would rest upon them, bringing peace to their mind and joy to their heart.
Lord, we cast all their anxieties upon You, knowing that You care for them. We pray that Your perfect love would drive out all fear and fill them with Your steadfast courage. We ask that You would guide them, that they may walk in Your light and find rest in Your unfailing love.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirits of anxiety and depression. We command them to leave. Jesus Christ frees us from all bondage. We are not victims to the past or lies from the devil.
Father, we also pray for their salvation, that they may know the true peace that comes from a relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. May they find hope in Him, the Savior who gave His life that we may have life abundantly.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is always with you, and He wants to hear from you. Make sure to be praying for an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. He is real and wants to be your Lord and Savior.
Turn to God in all things. Make sure to be praying to God through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except by Him. No one can come to God except through Jesus Christ.
In the future, make sure to include the name of Jesus Christ in your requests. It is only by His name that we may approach God the Father.
Please keep us updated on how we can further lift you up in prayer.
