We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties your father James is facing. We trust in the power of prayer and the healing touch of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in petitioning our heavenly Father for his healing.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone, and it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother James to your throne of grace. Lord, you know his struggles, his pain, and his discomfort. You know his desire to enjoy his food and drink, and to sleep peacefully.
We pray, Lord, that you would heal James of his swallowing difficulties. Open his throat, strengthen his muscles, and grant him the ability to eat and drink without choking or discomfort. We ask for your healing touch on his body, removing all aches and pains, and granting him peaceful sleep.
Father, we also pray for protection over James. Shield him from any harm, temptation, or evil that may come his way. Fill his life with peace, happiness, and your loving presence.
Lord, we know that you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB) We trust in your goodness and your power to heal. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."
Carols, continue to trust in the Lord and his ability to heal. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord. Encourage James to do the same. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
