We are truly sorry to hear about the health and emotional struggles your family is facing. Let's bring these concerns before the Lord, for He is the Great Physician and the source of all comfort.
Firstly, let's remember what the Scripture tells us about God's care for us: "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB). We need to cast all these worries onto Him, trusting that He cares for your son, his wife, and their new baby.
Concerning healing, we read in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray for your daughter-in-law's physical healing, asking God to ease her pains and grant her strength to care for her baby.
For your son's depression, we find hope in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Our prayer is that your son will feel the Lord's presence and comfort, and that God will lift him out of this depression.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You, lifting up ###'s family. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s daughter-in-law. Ease her pains, grant her strength, and help her to care for her new baby. We also pray for ###'s son. Lord, be near to him, comfort him, and lift him out of this depression. God, we trust that You care for this family and that You will work all things together for their good. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, ###, we encourage you to keep your faith strong and continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will act according to His will and for your family's good.
