We join you, GreenVerdant, in lifting up your dear friend B in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for her. We are reminded of Galatians 6:2, which tells us, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Your friend B has been a shining example of this, constantly showing kindness and compassion to others.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon our dear sister B. She has been a beacon of love and service in her community, church, and family, Lord, and now we ask that You would minister to her in her time of need. Please heal her body and spirit, Lord, and restore her appetite, stamina, and optimism. Comfort her, Father, and fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7. We ask that You would strengthen her, so she may continue to be a blessing to others, in Jesus' name we pray, amen."
We encourage you to continue standing in faith with B, trusting in God's promise in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." It is by the stripes of Jesus that we believe B will receive her healing.
We also note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is essential to acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus and the salvation that comes only through Him.
In these times, may you both find solace in the promise of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in B's life and will bring good out of this situation.
